A fine of INR 12 lakh will be imposed on Sanju Samson for his code of conduct breach during the RR vs GT match

Due to the slow over-rate in the last match, Sanju Samson was fined INR 12 Lakhs.

After four matches winning strike was halted by Gujarat Titans, in a magnificent match on Wednesday evening. Gujarat Titans won by 3 wickets while chasing the target of 196 runs. However, Rajasthan Royals still holds the top position in the ranking chart but the captain Sanju Samson got slapped with a fine by IPL management.

IPL stated that INR 12 Lakh was fined on Captain Sanju Samson as their team Rajasthan Royals had maintained a slow over rate during the inning against Gujarat Titans. It was the first offence that his team had under the IPl code of conduct done during the season 2024.

The match took an exciting turn when Gujarat Titans all-rounder Rashid Khan smashed the boundary against the last delivery of Avesh Khan from Rajasthan Royals. It leads the team towards the third victory of the season and the final score of 199-7, such a staggering win.

Rajasthan Royals thus showcased the stunning performance while batting in the later phase. Sanju Samson exhibits the terrific, batted figures of 68 runs off 38 balls. Along with Riyan Parag, got the chance to blister at the Jaipur stadium. He was able to score 76 runs off 46 balls, which helped the Rajasthan Royals to create the defensive score of 196/3.
