Delhi Capitals found a replacement for Harry Brook for the IPL 2024
Delhi Capitals has successfully managed to find a substitute for Harry Brook who was forced to terminate his participation in the Indian Premier League 2024 following the demise of his grandmother. The South African fast bowler Lizaad Williams has been selected as the replacement for Harry Brook. Lizaad Williams had been bid for INR 50 Laksh last year’s in the auction. This is his debut show as for him.
Delhi has also mentioned that Lungi Ngidi will serve as cover in current season, as well. Nevertheless, he pulled out the campaign following a withdrawal mode from dealing with the lower back injury. It was in the previous SA20 series held in January that he got his hamstring injury.

In April 2022 a player by the name of Williams made his first appearance playing for the South African Cricket team. Since then, he has been part of two Test contests and four One Day International (ODI) as well as eleven matches of the Twenty20 format (T20I).
Williams has become a vital part of team management, with a career total of 106 wickets from 83 T20 matches to show for his efforts in the short format game.
