Everyone was looking forward to this event after the World Cup this is the biggest tournament that is going to happen in June. Indian fans were very eager before the squad announcement like who is going to play in the team. Every person had their speculations and favorites whom they wanted to be selected for playing 11. This announcement has put a stop to it, and now all are aware of who made it to the team.

 As the IPL is running it is somewhere easy for the selector to choose the player according to the performance they are showcasing in the match. As they have access to analisation. In this 15-member squad, the selector has chosen 4 players for the reserve.

The meeting held in Ahmedabad between the BCCI secretary and Ajit Agarkar they are led the selection panel.
