India bats first in the second ODI, aiming for a series win

Smriti Mandhana won the toss and chose to bat first as the team wished to win the series.

This gives the young pace trio of Saima Thakor, Sayali Satghare, and Titas Sadhu another chance to shine, while Renuka Singh rested for this one too. Batters Pratika Rawal and Tejal Hasabnis will also be ones to watch as they continue to make their mark in the format.  

India faces a challenge batting first in cooler conditions with an 11 AM start, as the fast bowlers may take advantage of the early morning moisture. This match is important for India as they work on finalizing their best team for the upcoming home World Cup later this year.
