India will host the West Indies and South Africa, and Guwahati will hold its first Test match

Guwahati's Barsapara Cricket Stadium will host its first-ever Test match during India's 2025/26 home season.

Assam’s Guwahati will be hosting the next West Indies and South Africa match and with that it will become the 30th venue to host a test match in India. And the second Test match against South Africa will be held from November 22 to 26.
On Wednesday, the schedule for the 2025-26 season was released by the BCCI for the International season. With a home series that is going to be released West Indies and South Africa, which is going to be part of India’s World Test Championship fixtures. 
The cricket season starts with India playing against the West Indies in two Test matches. The first match will be held in Ahmedabad from October 2 to 6, and the second will take place in Kolkata from October 10 to 14. A month later, India will host South Africa for a home series. The first Test match will be in Delhi from November 14 to 18, and the second one will be in Guwahati.
After the Test matches, India and South Africa will compete in three One Day Internationals (ODIs) in Ranchi on November 30, Raipur on December 3, and Visakhapatnam on December 6. This will be followed by five T20 International matches in Cuttack on December 9, Mullanpur on December 11, Dharamsala on December 14, Lucknow on December 17, and Ahmedabad on December 19.
The ODIs will be day-night games starting at 1:30 PM IST, while the T20 matches will begin at 7:00 PM IST.
In addition to these men's series, India will also host the Women's ODI World Cup during this season.
