Munaf Patel Gets the Position of New Delhi Capitals bowling coach
The World Cup-winning fast bowler has experience of playing 63 IPL matches.
Munaf Patel The World Cup-winning fast has joined Delhi Capitals in the position of Bowling coach, the news was confirmed by the Franchise on Tuesday (November 12), and he is gonna join to a backroom that is currently headed by Venugopal Rao, the Director of Cricket, and Hemang Badani, the head coach.
At the start of the year, the Franchise decided to be separated from its Head Coach Ricky Ponting and the responsibility was on the new coaching group of Rao and Badani to sign up the new supporting staff.
Now Munaf Patel is gonna fill up the place that used to be handled by the James Hopes. Along with serving India's cricket team in all three formats, Munaf has played well with the 63 IPL Games across stints with Gujarat Lions, Mumbai Indians and Rajasthan Royals, and took 74 wickets at an economy of 7.51. And he ended by playing his last IPL games in 2017.
