Pakistan (And India ) Knocks Out New Zealand Secure Spot in T20 World Cup

Pakistan & India Knocks Out New Zealand Secure Spot in T20 World Cup

New Zealand beats Pakistan in their final group match to qualify for the semi-final of the Women's T20 World Cup for the first time since 2016.

New Zealand crushed Pakistan in their final group game, and after eight years, they have been out of the semi-finals of the T20 World Cup. New Zealand finally secured a place after that. They batted first and were able to secure only 110 runs with the loss of 6 wickets. India requires Pakistan to beat New Zealand to make a place in the semi-finals. Pakistan needed to score 57 runs in 11.3 overs to make it to the next round. If they did this, India or New Zealand would be out. But Pakistan got all out for only 56 runs, which is the lowest score they've ever had in a T20 World Cup.
Nashra Sandhu helped Pakistan stop New Zealand from scoring a lot of runs. But Amelia Kerr and Eden Carson also helped New Zealand win the match. This was surprising because New Zealand had lost ten matches in a row before this tournament.
Suzie Bates started the match well for New Zealand by hitting a four. Georgia Plimmer also hit a few fours. After five overs, New Zealand had hit five fours and looked like they were going to do well.
Nida wasn’t going to have a nice day as indicated by his first over which was the game's fifth over. Bates tries a reverse lap on the second ball against Dar so, that it could deflect to the wicketkeeper. But Muniba wasn’t able to hang on. Pakistan couldn't catch the ball five times when Dar was bowling. Bates hit the ball to midwicket, but Sandhu couldn't catch it. Before that, Plimmer almost got run out.
Plimmer and Bates couldn't use their chances well. New Zealand's score was 41 when Plimmer hit the ball badly and Sana almost dropped it, but caught it in the end. In the next over, Bates hit the ball to long-on and Sohail caught it. Sohail dropped the catch when Amelia Kerr was out, but later caught her at deep midwicket.
It was difficult to hit boundaries. Sophie Devine tried to hit the ball differently, but it didn't work. She was lucky when she was out, but Pakistan dropped five catches in the last three overs. Even though they dropped those catches, New Zealand could only hit seven fours - the last two by Brooke Halliday. They scored a total that seemed easy to reach at the halfway point. Sandhu got three people out, while Dar, Iqbal, and Sohail also got one person out each.
Pakistan needed to score 101 runs in 12 overs to play in the semi-finals. They wanted to score quickly, so they sent Aliya Riaz to open the batting with Muneeba. Riaz didn't stay long, she hit the ball badly and got out. Muneeba started well, she hit the ball over the bowler's head and pulled another ball. However, Tahuhu got her out with a good ball.
Then, Pakistan's batting was very bad. They lost five players in the first six overs, and their score was only 28. They changed the batting order, but it didn't help. Dar and Sana scored 24 runs together, which was their best partnership. But when Dar got out, Pakistan lost quickly. They lost their last five players for only four runs, and they couldn't reach their target.
