Both the opener lost their wickets very early in the match Rohit Sharma just scored six runs and got out by facing 5 balls only. Ishan Kishan followed him and lost his wicket without scoring any runs.
Surya Kumar Yadav entered the pitch MI fans put lots of hope on him as he is a very experienced player but he also got out and just scored 10 runs. The match came on the hold of Mumbai Indians when Tilak Verma took charge and gave a standout performance for the team MI he was able to score 65 runs by playing 45 balls. Nehal Wadhera got the opportunity to play for Mumbai Indians that was the first time he played for his team. This left-hander batsman proved his worth by contributing 49 runs off 24 balls which helped the team in reaching a good fighting target.
Mohammad Nabi scored 23 runs off 17 balls and Hardik also had a good start but lost his wicket by just securing 10 runs in 10 balls. The whole team of MI managed to stagger 179 runs on the loss of 9 wickets.
RR bowlers were in their form Sandeep Sharma got five wickets in the match apart from him Trent Boult also took 2 wickets every bowler of RR maintained a good economy while playing.
Not just the bowler but the batsman performed very well Yashasvi Jaiswal took charge with his power-hitting performance, he made his century in 59 balls. Not out at 104 runs by 60 that well his performance was. Jos Buttler secured 35 runs while Captain Sanju Samson remained not out at 38 runs off 28 balls.
It was an easy win for the Rajasthan Royals in just 18.4 overs RR completed the target of 179 runs and made 183 runs on the loss of one wicket. It was the seventh win for Rajasthan in a total of 8 matches.
