He surpassed Chris Gayle with his seventh century in the time list which is not the only outstanding incident that happened in the match the Royals chased one of the highest scores in the IPL and won.

Jos secured 107 runs in 60 balls apart from him Riyan and Rovman's contributions helped the team achieve the victory and by his seventh century, he was just one century away from Virat Kohli on being the highest century ever made by the player. Their strike rate in the last overs of Buttler helped the team secure 65 runs in 27 balls in this inning he hit six fours and 5 sixes last overs changed the whole course of the match because before that even Buttler was struggling to make runs and wickets were falling. From the 7th over to the 14 over Buttler's score is just 22 runs in 21 balls it was a hard-hitting performance of his work that made this miracle happen.

Only Kohli and Ben Stokes are the two players who made multiple hundred while chasing the score in the IPL.
