Reports said: The ICC did not propose a T20I series between India and Pakistan, This time

The bilateral T20I series, there were no proposals for the India and Pakistan series.

International Cricket Council’s (ICC) Annual conference was held in Colombo for the bilateral T20I series there were no proposals for the India and Pakistan series. As per the rumors it has been found that Pakistan Cricket Board chairman Mohsin Naqvi has been planning to invite India to a series in 2025 in Colombo. He also said that he wants to make sure that no 2025 Champions Trophy game is held outside the country. However, there is some uncertainty about whether India will be ready to send a team to Pakistan.

There were no such proposals held for this series as the focus will be mainly on the organization of the Champions trophy. Also, it has been found that Pakistan has a busy international schedule right now and the series against India could be difficult right now as per the PCB.

Nothing mentioned regarding the Champions Trophy in Annual Conference

Now as per the ICC’s official statement at the conference, there was nothing mentioned regarding the Champions Trophy. As per the cricket’s Global governing body USA Cricket has formally given a notice with "12 months to rectify their current non-compliance with the ICC Membership Criteria". In Pakistan, the tournament is going to be held,  starting on February 19, 2025. India has decided to face Pakistan on March 1, 2025 in Lahore.

However, The BCCI is unlikely to send the team to Pakistan for an upcoming tournament and can suggest a setup similar to the 2023 Asia Cup. Originally, the tournament was supposed to take place only in Pakistan, but it was changed to a mix of matches in Pakistan and Sri Lanka, with India playing their games in Sri Lanka instead.

On the other hand Indian team has started their new journey with Gautam Gambhir as the man in blue who has already departed from Mumbai on Monday. India has decided to play three T20s on July 27, July 28, and July 30, which will be followed by the three-match ODI series that is going to start on August,1.  The T20I leg of the series will be hosted at the Pallekele International Stadium and the other  50-over matches are going to be held at the  R Premadasa Stadium.

India's new head coach, Gambhir, recognized the big challenge ahead, knowing that he's following in the footsteps of cricket legends Rahul Dravid and Ravi Shastri. All eyes will be on Gambhir let’s see how he is going to this one.
