Sri Lanka Selects Former England Star Ian Bell as Batting Coach for Upcoming Test Series
Sri Lanka have appointed former England batter Ian Bell as their batting coach for the ongoing England tour.
Ian Bell the former England batter has been appointed as the batting coach for the upcoming England Tour.
Ian Bell will give coaching to the England players, he presented the England team in 2015 starting from 2004 and played 118 test matches and scored 7727 runs with an average of 42.69. Along with that he also scored 22 hundred and 46 in all of his test career.
CEO of Sri Lanka Ashley De Silva, thinks that being in the local conditions bell could really bring some insights to the matches. They have appointed Ian because they believe that the local knowledge of Ian can be really beneficial for the team and he has a lot of experience playing for the England team and in this important tour his expertise can be really helpful. From the 16th of August, the bell will start worrying on the team till the completion of the three-tests series.
Well, this series is going to be part of the ICC World Championship in which Sri Lanka has secured 4th in the standing on the other hand England has secured 6th one.
