WI Secures Major Victory to Take Series Lead

Alzarri Joseph picked two quick wickets on the fourth morning before Shoriful Islam retired hurt.

In the opening test, the West Indies Didn’t take much time to complete their win over Bangladesh. The home team was always favoured after 17 wickets fell on Day 3, putting pressure on Bangladesh.
When the game resumed on the fourth morning, Jaker Ali hit a boundary in the first over, but Alzarri Joseph took a wicket in the next over. Hasan Mahmud had to play a ball that was bowled nicely just outside the off-stump, and he ended up edging it to the wicketkeeper.
Jaker Ali was scoring runs consistently, but Joseph ended his innings by getting him out lbw, as the ball stayed a bit low and got through his defence. Shoriful Islam got hit on the shoulder with the first ball he faced and only managed to play one more over before he decided not to take any more risks since the outcome was already clear. Although Bangladesh struggled with the bat in the Test match, the West Indies set the stage for their victory by scoring 450 runs in their first innings.
